Pizza Stuffed Bell Peppers
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 18 minutes
  • • 1 large green bell pepper
  • • 1/3 lb. lean ground beef
  • • 1/3 white onion chopped
  • • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • • 2 tbsp basil Alfredo sauce
  • • Fresh basil leaves chopped
  • • Pepperonis
  • • Shredded (or sliced) Mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Cut bell peppers in half long ways & place into deep baking dish
  2. 2. Brown 1/3 lb. ground beef with salt, pepper & garlic powder.
  3. 3. Combine ground beef, chopped raw onions, both sauces, and
  4. chopped basil leaves.
  5. 4. Scoop into pepper halves and top with enough pepperonis to
  6. cover (5-6) then mozzarella cheese and then 3 more pepperonis
  7. to crisp.
  8. 5. Bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes then Broil for 2-3 minutes
