Plum cordial
INGREDIENTS
- Servings: 12
- Beach plums
- 2 cups rum or vodka
- 2 cups sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Pour 2 cups rum or vodka into a screw-top quart jar and screw on tight lid.
- Add 2 cups sugar and shake until dissolved.
- Fill jar with beach plums to top and store in cool dark place.
- Every few days jar should be turned gently.
- After about six to eight weeks cordial is completed and the contents can be strained and bottled.
- Liquid will be a clear dark red.
