Pork BBQ

  • butter
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 5 chopped garlic toes
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1 bottle Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Original sauce
  • Sandwich rolls
  1. Cut pork shoulder into large pieces. Brown all sides in pan with butter. Remove meat pieces and put in crockpot.
  2. Add onions to pan and saute with garlic til softened. Pour over meat in crockpot. Add the water and cook on low for 7 hours.
  3. Remove meat from crockpot and pull meat apart with fork. Remove all liquid except enough to cover bottom of crockpot. Stir in the BBQ sauce then add meat back to pot and stir til coated.
  4. Serve on toasted buns.
I used to live in North Carolina and ate BBQ all the time. When I moved away I missed my BBQ!
