Potato Hats (“Cowboy Things for Boys”)
INGREDIENTS
  • Potatoes
  • Bacon (not too salty)
  • Caraway seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Partially boil unpeeled potatoes.
  2. Slice potatoes about 1” thick.
  3. Cut potato slices in half to make semicircles.
  4. Slit almost through the middle.
  5. Stuff with small piece of not-too-salty bacon.
  6. Put on greased baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and salt.
  8. Brush top with oil.
  9. Bake in oven until potato is soft and slightly crispy.
