Puerto Rican Chilli " De La Raza"
  • 1 to 2lbs of ground turkey meat
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 8oz. cans of diced stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 small green pepper
  • Leaves of cilantro to taste
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 packet of chillie seasoning
  • V-8 juice
  1. First brown the ground turkey meat and rinse and drain
  2. Add to crock Pot
  3. Add all of the ingredients above
  4. Last add the V-8 juice until you achieve the desired consistency
  5. Set crock pot on high for 3-4 hours or on low 6-7 hours
This is a recipe that was passed down to me from my Father in law who is of Puerto Rican decent.
