Pumpkin Butter

INGREDIENTS
  • 15 oz can of pumpkin
  • 1/2 c. apple cider (or orange juice, or a combination)
  • up to 1/2 c brown sugar (to taste, I use less than half that much)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine in saucepan over low heat
  2. Stir for 15 minutes as it bubbles, until it is thick and dark.
