Quick & Easy Cream Cheese and Pecan Brownies
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 8oz pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 3 2/3 cups confectioners sugar
  1. Combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter. Stir in pecans, mix well.
  2. Press into a greased 13X9 inch pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and remaining eggs until smooth.
  4. Pour over the cake/pecan mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 mintues or until golden brown.
  6. Cool on wire rack; cut into squares. Store in refrigerator. Makes 3 dozen.
My mom gave me this recipe. A lady at her church gave her the recipe and they are so quick and easy to make and always the first to go at church dinners.
