Quick Apple Crisp
  • 5 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 package (9 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter or magarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • Vanilla ice cream or thawed, frozen whipped topping
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Peel, core, and slice apples.
  3. Cut apples in half crosswise.
  4. Place apples in a deep baker dish.
  5. Combine remaining ingedients, except ice cream into a bowl.
  6. Mix until crumbly using a scraper.
  7. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.
  8. Bake 35-40 minutes or until apples are tender.
  9. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping, if desired. ENJOY!!
