Quick Cake Mix Peanut Butter Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 8-10 Minutes
- Servings: 4-5 dozen
- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chunky style peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
DIRECTIONS
- Add 1/2 package of cake mix and remaining ingredients. Beat with a spoon or electric mixer until smooth and well blended.
- Blend in remaining 1/2 package of yellow cake mix. Mix thoroughly. It may be necessary to use your hands to mix the dough.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 3" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Cookies should be about the size of walnuts.
- With a fork dipped in flour or sugar, flatten rounds of dough by pressing crisscross design on top of each cookie.
- Bake 8-10 minus or until a light golden brown. Cool cookies on baking sheet about 2 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool.
- Variations: Bake teaspoonful size of dough in mini muffin pans and add a Ghiradelli milk chocolate chip or a Hershey's kiss chocolate on the top in the center. For peanut butter and jelly cookies, pies tip of a spoon in center. This makes a hole to hold the jelly after baking.
