  • Ingredients for 30 servings:
  • 3 lb ground beef
  • 3 diced onions
  • 3 cans kidney beans, drained
  • 3 cans butter beans, drained
  • 3 cans green beans, drained
  • 3 large cans pork and beans or baked beans
  • 2 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 c ketchup
  • 3 tsp dry mustard
  • 6 tbsp vinegar
  • Bacon bits, optional
  • Ingredients for 50 servings:
  • 5 lb ground beef
  • 5 diced onions
  • 5 cans kidney beans, drained
  • 5 cans butter beans, drained
  • 5 cans green beans, drained
  • 5 large cans pork and beans or baked beans
  • 3 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 3 c ketchup
  • 4 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 9 tbsp vinegar
  • Bacon bits, optional
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown ground beef with onion. Drain well.
  2. Mix all ingredients and place in refrigerator overnight.
  3. Place in lined crock pots and heat on low for 3-4 hours.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
This recipe is pure comfort food! Substitute different varieties of beans, as you wish. Omit the meat for vegetarian option. Makes great leftovers.
