Raspberry Bars
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 25
- 1/2 Cup butter,softened
- 1 Cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 Cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2/3 Cup Raspberry (seedless) jam
DIRECTIONS
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir flour,salt,and soda. Add to butter and sugar mixture. Add oats and 1/4 Cup of water-mix until crumbly. Firmly pat 1/2 of the mixture into a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Stir raspberry jam and lemon juice together. Spread over base. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool; cut into bars. Makes 36-40
