Rhonda's Speedy Spicy Salsa

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • 28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes (organic if possible)
  • 2 seeded jalapeno peppers
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • cilantro to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Put the jalapeno peppers, cloves of garlic, onion, and cilantro in your food processor along with a few spoonfuls of the tomatoes and pulse a few times. Add this mixture to the remaining crushed tomatoes, and you've got terrific salsa.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I received this recipe from a friend at work that got it out of the newspaper. I get a little lazy sometimes as far as chopping vegetables are concerned so I use this recipe at those times. If you want to tone down the spiciness, start with one jalapeno pepper instead of two.
