Risotto

  • 1 C sliced mushrooms
  • 2/3 C rice
  • 1/3 C Chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine/butter
  • 1 C chicken broth
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1/4 tsp. dried sage, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1.) Cook mushrooms, rice, and green pepper in medium saucepan in margarine until pepper is tender
  2. 2.) remove from heat. stir in broth, water, sage, and pepper/
  3. 3.) bring to a bowl; reduce heat. cover and simmer for 15 minutes
  4. 4.) remove from heat and let cool. sprinkle with cheese
