Roast Turkey with Herbs
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 6- 8
  • 5 to 6-lb. turkey breast
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 T. butter, softened
  • 1 T. soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 T. fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/2 t. dried basil
  • 1/2 t. dried thyme
  • 1/2 t. poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 t. pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place turkey breast-side up in a large slow cooker; add water.
  2. Blend together remaining ingredients in a small bowl; spread over outside of turkey.
  3. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on high setting for 4 to 6 hours.
