Roasted Chicken Breasts with Smoked Paprika

  • 4-6 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3 T. smoked paprika
  • 1 t. chili powder
  • 1 T. garlic powder
  • 1 T. onion powder
  • 1 T. thyme
  • 1 t. pepper
  • 1/2 t. kosher salt
  • 1/4 c. butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix together all the spices in a gallon size plastic bag. Add chicken and shake to coat well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight. Place chicken on parchment lined baking sheet, top chicken with butter. Roast in an oven preheated to 425 F for 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven, cover with foil and rest 10 minutes before serving

While I would normally grill this recipe, in the dead of Winter it is wonderful roasted in the oven, and the house smells wonderful.
