Roasted Walnut Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 3/4 lb. (about 3 cups) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs. milk
  • 1 cup roasted walnut pieces
  1. In a large mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the cheese and butter.
  2. Add the sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Add the vanilla and milk, if needed to thin consistency, and mix well. Fold in the walnut pieces. Makes about 3 cups.
