Robbie's favorite layered bean dip

  • 1 16 oz can refried vegetarian beans
  • 2 T taco seasoning or la victoria taco sauce
  • 3 avocados
  • 1t salt
  • 1t roasted garlic
  • 1 12 oz container sour cream
  • 1 12 oz container salsa - here I like the more traditional tomato based version
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups finely shredded iceberg lettuce
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat beans and mix with either taco seasoning or taco sauce and pour into 9x12 casserole dish
  2. Take 3 avocados and mash with salt and roasted garlic, then layer over beans
  3. spread sour cream over guacomole evenly
  4. pour and evenly spread salsa
  5. sprinkle cheese over top
  6. garnish with lettuce around edges of dish
