Rocky Road Brownies

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 pkg. (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS
- Heat 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and the margarine over low heat until melted; cool.
- Heat oven to 370 degrees.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, salt, eggs and chocolate mixture.
- Spread in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches.
- Bake 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle with marshmallows, nuts and remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake until marshmallows are golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool completely; cut into 2x1 inch bars. Makes 36 brownies.
