Romano Garlic Bread

  • 1 Italian baguette
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/3 cup grated romano cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine butter, garlic and basil in a bowl.
  3. Slice the bread into 3/4" slices, at an angle.
  4. Spread butter mixture between bread slices.
  5. Add some of the mixture along the top of the loaf.
  6. Wrap in aluminum foil, but leave a little slit in the top.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
