Rosemary Beer Bread Mix

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose unbleached flour
  • 2/3 cup yellow corn meal
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 4 tsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp rosemary
DIRECTIONS
  1. Stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Layer with remaining ingredients in an 18 ounce jar.

  3. Place contents of jar in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in 12 ounces of beer, just until combined. Pour into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan and bake at 375F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cover with foil during last 10 minutes to prevent overbrowning if necessary. Cool in pan 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely or serve warm.
