Rubbed Flank Steak with Horseradish Cream

  • Steak:
  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • Horseradish cream:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 T prepared horseradish
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • Steak Rub:
  • 1/4 T brown sugar
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 2 t black pepper
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place bourbon and soy sauce in large zip-top plastic bag. Add steak; seal and refrigerate 24 hours. To prepare horseradish cream, mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and chill. To prepare rub, add all rub ingredients together. Remove steak and discard marinade. Place rub mixture over steak. Chill 30 minutes. Prepare grill. Place steak on grill rack and cook 8 minutes on each side. Cut steak against grain. Serve with horseradish cream
