SALMON PATTIES

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can pink salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup onion
  • 1?2 cup flour
  • 1-1?2 tsps. baking powder
  • 3?4 cup shortening
DIRECTIONS
  1. Drain salmon.
  2. Mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky.
  3. Stir in flour.
  4. Add baking powder.
  5. Form into small patties; fry until golden brown in shortening

These are nice to make when you are in a rush or don't have any meat out ready to cook. All you need is a can of salmon and a can opener.
