  • rice pwd fine 1/2kg
  • rice roughly ground 1kg
  • clearfied butter(ghee) 100g
  • sugar 100g according to sweetness
  • salt pinch
  • cardamom pwd 1/4 tsp
  • coconut milk 1 can
  • flour 200g
  1. add all the ingredients into a s/s bowl mix well except the flour
  2. next day add the flour to make a very thick batter of pouring type which can leave an impression on the mother batter.
  3. heat sunflower oil use a jug to pour the batter into the oil into a circle. as shown in the picture fry till golden brown
well this is not an ordinary recipe its has been handed down from generation to generation to the girl child of each nepali house or family. and the most extra ordinary thing about this recipe is that all the ingredients are same in each house but the taste is different from house to house or family or each time a newly girl child is married off. a new taste emerges.
