SLOPPY TOTS CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 27 to 32
- 1 2lb bag Tater Tots
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c ketchup
- 1/4 c water
- 3 T brown sugar
- 1 T worcestershire
- 1 t salt
- 2 c shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Layer tater tots in a 13x9 baking pan.
- Bake at 425° for 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, brown ground beef with onions and garlic.
- Add tomato sauce, ketchup, water, brown sugar, worchestershire and salt.
- Mix thoroughly.
- When tater tots are out of oven, spread sloppy joe mixture over top.
- Then top with cheese.
- Lower oven heat to 350° and bake an additional 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
