SNICKERDOODLES

INGREDIENTS
  • Mix:
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Stir in:
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 t. cream of tartar
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/4 t. salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Roll into balls (size of walnut). Roll in mixture of: 2 T. sugar and 1 T. cinnamon
  2. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with fingers.
  3. Bake until lightly brown but soft. 350 degrees 12 min. About 5 dozen
