STUFFED CABBAGE

- 1 head green cabbage cored
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 2-3 tbs white vinegar
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- large yellow onion cut up about 1 inch pieces
- 1 Family size can of Campbells Tomato Soup
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup instant rice
- Garlic salt and pepper
- 1 large egg
DIRECTIONS
- Cut cabbage head in half and core. Low boil cabbage until soft .
- about 10 minutes. So it is pliable but still not mushy. Drain and cool.
- Mix raw ground beef with instant rice, egg, garlic salt, pepper.
- Make mini "meatloaves" about half the size of your palm. Bigger than a meatball, about 5 bites worth.
- take a leaf of cabbage and wrap each meatloaf like a burrito.
- Saute onion in butter with a little salt and pepper until golden. Place cabbage rolls in bottom of the pot and Add raisins, vinegar, sugar and tomato soup. Cover and simmer about 30-45 minutes. Add extra cabbage cut into 5 inch chunks during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
