Salsa Verde
  • 12 Tomatillos, grilled or parboiled (choose smaller tomatillos when buying them)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 Jalapenos, seeds and ribs removed (leave the seeds and ribs if you like it hot!!)
  • 3/4 cup of cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  1. Remove husks from tomatillos before grilling or parboiling. You may also grill the jalapenos and onion (use less jalapenos for a more mild sauce or more if you like it hot). Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Cover and let sit in the frig for an hour. Serve with tortilla chips
