Salted Nut Bars

INGREDIENTS
- Crust:
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- Topping:
- 2 T. butter
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
- 11-oz can of mixed nuts
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350-degrees
- Crust:
- Mix ingredients together.
- Pat into a greased 13x9" pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Topping:
- Melt butter, cornsyrup and butterscotch chips in a medium saucepan.
- Pour syrup mixture over the baked crust, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle mixed nuts evenly over the top.
- Bake an additional 10 minutes.
- Cut in bars to serve.
