Sausage Bean Soup
INGREDIENTS

  • Servings: 6 to 8
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 2 (16oz.) can kidney beans, don't drain
  • 2 (14oz.) cans diced tomatoes, don't drain
  • 1 can corn, don't drain
  • 2 cups tomato juice or sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown sausage, drain.
  2. Combine with remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer for at least 1 hour.
