Sausage Cheese Balls
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Owens regular sausage
  • 3 ½-cup biscuit mix (I use Bisquick)
  • 1 10 oz pkg of shredded sharp cheese
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine 1 lb of Owens regular sausage with 3 ½-cup biscuit mix, 1 10 oz package shredded sharp cheese and a dash of cayenne pepper.
  2. Mix until well blended and a soft dough.
  3. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  4. Arrange on buttered baking sheet 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Freezes well.

These are great to keep on hand during the holidays. They freeze very well. I always make these on New Year’s Day.
