Sausage and Sauerkraut Casserole
  • 1 pound Polish Kielbasa or Smoked Sausage, sliced approx. 1/4" thick
  • 1-16 oz can of Sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 package of Egg Noodles
  • 1 family size can of Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup Prepared Yellow Mustard
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss Cheese
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1-2 cups Bread Crumbs
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In mixing bowl combine soup, onion, milk and mustard.
  3. Spray a deep casserole dish with a non-stick spray.
  4. Spread the Sauerkraut on the bottom evenly.
  5. Next layer the noodles over the Sauerkraut.
  6. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the Noodles.
  7. Place the Sausage on the top, evenly.
  8. Spread the cheese over the entire dish, and sprinkle the top with bread crumbs.
  9. Bake for an hour.
