Sausage cornbread stuffing

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. hot sausage crumbled and browned.
- 2 tsp. rosemary
- 2 tsp. thyme dry
- 2 tsp. savory dry
- 2 tsp. basil dry
- 3 tbs parsley or 1 cup fresh
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper or to taste
- 1 cup sweet potatoes cubed about 11/2 in. cubes.
- 2 cups celery chopped
- 2 cups onion chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper chopped
- 1 half to 1 cup butter
- 4 to 6 cups chicken broth or turkey broth.
DIRECTIONS
- Brown sausage and drain well.
- Put all ingredients in large bowl except for broth.
- Using your hands, mix all ingredients including sausage. When
- mixed well, add broth. If dressing is too dry, add more broth.
- Place in greased pan about 13 X 9.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until slightly browned.
- Add more chicken broth or water if dressing becomes to dry while
- cooking.
