Sckrate Outta Tha 6 Belgian Waffles

  • 1 1/2 Cup Unbleached All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 3 Tbsp of Pure Cane Sugar or Coco Sugar
  • 5 Tbsp of Melted Vegan Butter ( I use Earth Balance)
  • 3 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tsp of Allspice
  • 1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp of Ground Flax Seed
  • 5 Tbsp of Water
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Almond Milk (1 cup unsweetened original, 1/2 cup vanilla sweetened )
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to its instructions
  2. In a small bowl mix the water and flax seed then set aside.
  3. In a large glass add the almond milk combo and the apple cider vinegar and stir until bubbles/foam appears.
  4. In a separate medium sized mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Using the large glass that has the almond milk combo, add the flax mixture to it, the melted vegan butter, and the vanilla extract to it and stir well.
  6. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixing bowl and mix , there will still be some clumps remaining but that's OK the main thing is that its thick.
  7. Cook the waffles following your waffle makers instructions
  8. Serve warm !
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I normally make these fluffy & crispy waffles with fried mushrooms, so I can have a vegan version of chicken & waffles. Also when I wanna be fancy i use cocoa powder to make chocolate waffles for the kids. Garnish with a lil chocolate sauce and powdered sugar.
