Scooter Bars

  • Preparation Time: 10 min
  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 c peanut butter
  • 1 c white karo syrup
  1. Pour the rice krispies in a large bowl. Set aside
  2. In a saucepan put the sugar, peanut butter & syrup.
  3. Cook at a medium heat until starts to boil. (Stir a lot so doesnt stick or burn in pan)
  4. Stir for about a minute past the boil time.
  5. Pour into the rice krispie bowl & mix.
  6. Put into a 9 x 13 in pan.
  7. Frosting (optional)
  8. 1/2 bag of real chocolate chips and 1/2 bag butterscotch chips.
  9. Put in bowl & microwave until melted.
  10. Pour over bars.
I received this receipe from my niece. It is a quick easy bar. My son loved it growing up and he still does.
