Scotcheroos
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups rice krispies
- 6 oz. butterscotch chips
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- In a large pan add sugar and corn syrup.
- Heat to just boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
- Next mix in the rice krispies.
- Press into a buttered 13x9 pan.
- In a double boiler over hot water, melt the chips.
- Once melted, spread over rice krispie mixture.
- Chill for 15 minutes and then cut into bars.
