Simple Bananna Bread

  • 2 - 3 medium mashed over-ripe bananas (browned - approx 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 C)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup = it less sweet, 1 cup for sweeter)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 350, and grease bread loaf pan
  2. Mash bananas until smooth, stir in melted butter
  3. Stir in baking soda and salt; add sugar, egg (previously beaten) and vanilla and mix well
  4. Add flour and mix well; Pour into loaf pan
  5. Bake 50 - 60 minutes until browned, passes toothpick test, and let cool. Remove from pan and store or serve.
