Simple Peach Cobbler
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 lg. can or 2 regular sized cans peaches, undrained (If using two cans of peaches, drain the juice from one can only)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 C. cinnamon sugar
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter in a 9" x 13" baking pan.
  3. In a separate bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and milk.
  4. Pour on top of the melted butter - DO NOT MIX. Gently pour or place peaches, with juice, on top of flour mixture. Again, DO NOT MIX.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Serve warm.
A quick, easy dessert that is great served warm with ice cream.
