Skillet Potatoes
  • Small bag of red new potatoes
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tony’s Chachere’s
  • Large Ziploc Bag
  1. Cut potatoes into ¼’s.
  2. Melt butter.
  3. Place potatoes and melted butter into zip lock bag.
  4. Add salt, pepper and Tony’s Chachere’s.
  5. Shake the bag so butter and spices consume the potatoes.
  6. Gas on high heat.
  7. Dump into iron skillet.
  8. Potatoes when caramelized will start to turn a dark brown from the butter.
  9. *Note: Depending on the amount of potatoes added to the skillet will depend on how long you will need to leave them in for. Most time 15-20 minutes.
  10. Once caramelized, reduce heat to low and cover for 5 minutes to soften potatoes.
  11. Ready to eat.
  12. * Enjoy this dish with a good 'ole Miller Lite both while you are cooking and with the meal. :-)
