Skippy Peanut Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 6 dzn
  • 2 C Quick Oats
  • 1 1/4 C unsifted flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 C margarine
  • 1 C Skippy creamy or chunky P butter
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1 C firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t. Vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a mixer beat margarine and peanut butter till smooth.
  2. Beat in sugars until blended.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add oats, flour, powder, soda and salt, beat until well blended.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on UNGREASED cookie sheets.
  6. Bake 350 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Remove from cookie sheets immediately.
  8. Cool on wire racks. Makes 6 dozen.

I'm guessing this came from a jar of Skippy peanut butter, but I've had it in my cookbook for so long, I don't remember.
