Slow Cooker Beef with Mushrooms
  • 2½ pound chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 - 8 ounce package whole button mushrooms
  • ½ teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon beef powdered beef bouillon
  • ½ cup water
  1. Layer onions and mushrooms in bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Rub worcestershire sauce into meat as well as you possibly can.
  3. Place beef in slow cooker, sprinkle with garlic pepper seasoning.
  4. Mix powdered bouillion and water and pour around the edges of the crock pot, try to avoid rinsing the worcestershire off the roast.
  5. Cover, cook on low 7 to 8 hours, longer will not hurt this at all!
  6. The top of the roast becomes a lovely deep dark brown and the resulting broth is fantastic.
A few simple ingredients and the result is WOW!! I hope you try this and enjoy!
