Smothered Cabbage Recipe

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Boiled and shredded Chicken
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 head onion
  • 1 head potato
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • to taste - Salt
  • To Garnish - Bread croutons
  1. 1. Finely chop the Onion, potato celery and cabbage
  2. 2. Heat oil and sauté the onions till soft
  3. 3. Add chili flakes and cook for a minute
  4. 4. Add cabbage, chicken, celery and chicken stock
  5. 5. Simmer and smother for 10 minutes and add salt to taste
  6. 6. Finally add freshly ground pepper powder and serve hot with bread croutons
