Snickerdoodle Cookies

  • Cooking Time: 8-10 minutes
  • Servings: 6 dozen
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Soda
  • 1 Tbl Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tsp Creme of Tartar
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat Oven to 375
  2. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1/12 cups of sugar and eggs.
  3. Blend in flour, creme of tartar, soda, and salt.
  4. Shape dough by rounding into balls.
  5. Mix 2 tbl sugar and cinnamon, roll balls into mixture.
  6. Place 2 inch. apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8-10 min.
  8. Immediatly remove from sheets.
  9. Enjoy!
