Snickerdoodle Cookies

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 8-10 minutes
- Servings: 6 dozen
- 1/2 Cup Butter, softened
- 1 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 3/4 Cup Flour
- 1 Tsp Soda
- 1 Tbl Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Shortening
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tsp Creme of Tartar
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Heat Oven to 375
- Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1/12 cups of sugar and eggs.
- Blend in flour, creme of tartar, soda, and salt.
- Shape dough by rounding into balls.
- Mix 2 tbl sugar and cinnamon, roll balls into mixture.
- Place 2 inch. apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 min.
- Immediatly remove from sheets.
- Enjoy!
