Sour Cream Cranberry Jello Salad
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 oz package Raspberry OR Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pound whole canned cranberry sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts OR pecans
  1. Heat water to a boil
  2. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add sour cream and use a wire whisk to beat until smooth.
  5. Stir in cranberry, lemon, and nuts.
  6. Put in glass bowl or dish and chill till serving.
  7. I usuaully make this in a 13 x 9 glass baking dish and double the recipe using either one box of raspberry jello and on strawberry or one big box of some combo like cranberry-rasp, etc
A nice side dish to any holiday meal. Goes great with ham, prime rib, etc.
