Spagetti Pie!!

  • A whole package of pasta
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • Half an onion (to taste)
  • Garlic
  • Mozzarella (I use skim)
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Sauce
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Butter half a stick
  • 2 eggs
  • Parsley
DIRECTIONS
  1. Boil water
  2. Season meat with onion, garlic, spices
  3. Brown meat/cook pasta
  4. Add 2 eggs, half a stick of butter and parm cheese to pasta
  5. Put spagetti into pie molds, making a "crust" with pasta
  6. Add the meat first (I sometimes do one half vegitarian and add roasted red peppers)
  7. Put the sauce on top of the meat, then add ricotta cheese, then add mozzarella cheese.
  8. Put one pie in the the oven at 350 for 30-45 mins, the pasta on crust should be brown. If you take it out too soon the pasta won't stick together like a pie!! Freeze the other pie for another day :)

My Mom has always made it for us growing up! I always make two pies one for now and one to freeze for later!
