Spaghetti Sauce

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 28 oz. can crushed peeled tomatoes
  • or 2 1-lb. cans mashed tomatoes
  • 1 12 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2-3 cups hot water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1-2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients except beef, onion, and garlic. Allow to simmer.
  2. Brown the beef, onion, and garlic. Drain fat. Spoon beef-onion mixture into sauce. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Serve with spaghetti noodles
