Spicy Turkey Burgers
INGREDIENTS
- 1 bunch scallions, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeno, de-seeded and finely chopped
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
- Cheese Slices of your choice (pepperjack or swiss are tasty)
- Burger Buns
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Form into burger patties.
- Preheat grill. Grill patties over direct medium-high heat, about 5 minutes each side.
- Lift grill cover and lightly toast burger buns. Lay slices of cheese on patties and grill until melted.
- Plate burgers and serve.
