Spicy Turkey Burgers
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 bunch scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, de-seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
  • Cheese Slices of your choice (pepperjack or swiss are tasty)
  • Burger Buns
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Form into burger patties.
  2. Preheat grill. Grill patties over direct medium-high heat, about 5 minutes each side.
  3. Lift grill cover and lightly toast burger buns. Lay slices of cheese on patties and grill until melted.
  4. Plate burgers and serve.
