Spicy green bean casserole

  • 3/4 c milk
  • 1/4 c white wine
  • 1/8 t white pepper
  • 1 can condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 t garlic Tabasco sauce
  • 2 T roasted garlic
  • 2 cans French cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can French fried onions
  1. mix all ingredients, reserving 1 cup French fried onions
  2. pour into 9x12 casserole dish
  3. bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
  4. top with remaining French fried onions
  5. bake for an additional 10 minutes
Believe it or not, the first time I ever had this casserole was about 4 years ago when my cousin Tina made it. I had never even heard of it! I have since taken the basic and "made it my own" with some fun changes. This is the version I make at home - too hot for some to take to a potluck
