Spinach and Cream Cheese Biscuit Turnovers

  • 1/2 package of bacon, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 10-oz package of spinach, chopped and squeezed dry
  • 4-oz soft cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup parm cheese
  • 10-oz can of flaky boscuits
  • 1 Tbs melted butter
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  1. Seperate the biscuits and flatten out with your hand of the bottom of a glass.
  2. Fry the bacon and onion.
  3. Then add the remaining ingredients in given order. Mix well and cool than add 1 tsp of the mixture to each flattened out biscuit.
  4. Fold over and crimp the edges using a fork to seal.
  5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
  6. Bake at 350 for about 12 minutes.
  7. * You may want to drain off any excessive oil in the pan after you have cooked the bacon and onion before adding in the remaining ingredients~ Janie
