Spinach dip my way!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boxes frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1 block creme cheese ( lowfat/fat free works fine too)
  • 1/2 c low fat sour creme
  • 4 ounce can of water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 of small red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 2T milk
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • parm. cheese
  • Pita chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheta oven to 400
  2. if needed chop spinach up, add to bowl with everything except the cheese. Place in a 2 quart baking dish ( I actually use a deep dish pie plate) sprinkle with cheese and bake until bubbly and nicely browned.
  3. Serve with pita chips
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I am not a fan of creme cheese and most of the dips out there are loaded with it. I made this for my taste and it turned out great.
