  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix,
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • For the filling: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (+ extra for dusting)
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 325 Degrees and grease a 9x13x2 cake pan
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, 1 egg and the melted butter until well combined (it should be a thick dough)
  3. 3. Using clean hands press the dough into the prepared pan with your fingers.
  4. 4. Using an electric mixer, blend cream cheese, 2 beaten eggs and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. 5. Spread filling over first dough layer.
  6. 6. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until edges are brown.
  7. 7. Cool cake on cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar after cake has cooled completely.
